Teachers Recruitment Board, Government of Tamil Nadu, invites applications form eligible candidates for the posts of Assistant Professors in Engineering Colleges on Direct Recruitment basis.
Vacancy Details:
Total Posts: 192
Name of the Posts: Assistant Professors
Age Limit: Maximum 57 years as on 01-07-2016.
Educational Qualification: B.E. or B.Tech and M.E. or M.Tech. in the relevant Branch of Engineering or Technology with First Class or its equivalent either in B.E or B.Tech. / M.E. or M.Tech or Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with good academic record with not less than 55% of marks or  an equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) from an Indian University or an equivalent Degree from a Foreign University, and Pass in the National Eligibility Test  (NET) for Lecturers conducted by the UGC, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research.
Availability of Application Form: Candidates can obtain the prescribed OMR Application Form along with Prospectus on payment of Rs.100/- in cash, in person from the Office of the Chief Educational Officers of all 32 Districts in Tamilnadu.
Examination Fee: Candidates belong to SC/ST and Differently Abled category will have to pay Rs. 300/- &
Rs. 600/- for All other candidates in any Branch of Indian Bank/ Indian Overseas Bank/ Canara Bank using only the prescribed challan attached with the prospectus. Candidates don’t forget to submit Teachers Recruitment Board’s copy of the challan in a separate envelope, along with the application form.
