          HALL TICKET
            TRB issued Notification for the Direct Recruitment of Post Graduate Assistants / Physical Education Directors Grade - I vide Advertisement No.03/2017, dated 09.05.2017. In this connection, TRB now releases the Provisional Hall Tickets for those candidates who applied for the said examination.
            It is informed to all applicants that the decision of the Board to issue Hall Tickets to all applicants is purely provisional and does not confer any acceptance of their claim in the application. Issuing the Hall Tickets and permitting the candidates to sit for the examination does not mean that their application forms have been accepted by the Board. The Board reserves its right to reject the candidature at any stage of the recruitment.
            Some of the applications received by the board do not have the candidate’s photograph. The Board has provisionally admitted such candidates and uploaded their hall tickets without photograph. These candidates are advised to download the form herein and fill in the details, affix a recent passport size colour photograph and get it attested by a Gazetted Officer. The same must be handed over to the exam hall supervisor at the time of examination, along with a stamp size colour photograph.

For the post of Physical Education Director-Grade-I, the candidates should have any Bachelors Degree with M.P.Ed. degree. All degrees should be from UGC / NCTE recognised universities only. The candidates apply only for which the vacancies are notified and subject code numbers assigned. The candidates applying for the posts mentioned in Annexure I should have passed Tamil Language as Part I or Part II up to SSLC and PUC / Higher Secondary Course levels. If not, he / she should pass Tamil Language Test conducted by the Tamilnadu Public Service Commission within two years from the date of their appointment.
Age: Candidates should not be over 57 years as on 1-7-2017-2018 as the age of superannuation is 58 years

As per Detailed Notification No.03/2016 dated 28.06.2016, Teachers Recruitment Board conducted the Written Competitive Examination on 17.09.2016 for the Direct Recruitment of Senior Lecturer/Lecturer/Junior Lecturer in SCERT. 12164 candidates attended the Written Examination.

Now, the Board has released the tentative key answers for all subjects for the post of Senior Lecturer/ Lecturer/ Junior Lecturer. As per the Addendum dated 12.07.2016, para III, Candidates are given time upto 28.09.2016 to submit their representation regarding objection if any on the tentative answer keys published along with the proof for the disputed answer keys, in the given format. Their representation may be sent through post or may be dropped in the Box provided at Teachers Recruitment Board’s information centre on or before 28.09.2016 upto 5.30pm. For any objections, candidates should give proof from standard Text Books only. Guides and Correspondence Course materials are not permissible.

What is TET ?

        Teacher Eligibility Test known as TET is an Indian entrance examination for teachers. The test is mandatory for getting teaching jobs in government schools from Class 1 to Class 8. Paper 1 is meant for teachers opting for Class 1 to Class 5 and Paper 2 for Class 6 to Class 8. It is conducted by both Central government and State governments in India. Most states conduct their own TET.[1] The test is conducted in order fulfill and achieve the goals of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act.

About TET in Tamil Nadu 2016

  • The Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) will conduct Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test (TN TET) 2016 also known as Tamil Nadu TET, as per the formalities laid down by the central regulating authorities. Tamil Nadu TET is for the candidates aspiring to become teachers in primary (class I -V) and upper primary (VI-VIII) schools in the state of Tamil Nadu.
  • TN TET 2016 notification will be released by the Department of School Education, Tamil Nadu OR concerned examination board as directed by the Government of Tamil Nadu. TET 2016 Exam pattern, Syllabus and Scheme

     TN TET Syllabus consists of two objective type question papers. Each paper will consist of 150 MCQs and each question carries 1 marks totaling for 150 marks. Following are the details of question papers :
  1. Paper I Syllabus: To become teachers for classes I-V in Tamil Nadu primary school.
  2. Paper II Syllabus: To become teachers for classes between VI and VIII in Tamil Nadu upper primary school.
  3. Paper I and II: For those candidates who interested in teaching from Class I to VIII. They can appear for both the papers and have to get qualifying marks to be considered for all the classes.

TNTET Applications forms are available at all the Head Masters of Government Higher Secondary Schools, on payment of Rs. 50/- in cash towards the cost of Application Form and Prospectus. Use Separate Applications for Paper I and Paper II. The Examination fee is Rs.500/- for general categories (Rs.250/- for reserved categories). The fee should be paid by the candidate in any Branch of the State Bank of India or Indian Overseas Bank or Canara Bank only using the Prescribed Challan attached with the Prospectus.

Paper Pattern

​TNTET Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for Classes I to V. Number of  Questions 150 MCQs and the Duration of the Examination is 1 Hour and 30 Minutes.
